After all, it is backed by more then 50 years of success stories.  Beyonce Knowles shed off 20 pounds of weight, and Robin Quiver raving about it after losing 70 pounds herself.

But before you jump right into the lemon cleanse diet (by Stanley Burroughs), there is something you should know. Stanley Burroughs master cleanse was designed as a safe detox diet, and not for weight loss.

Granted you may have lose weight using the original formula, but how much weight did you loss? 3 pounds?  Maybe 5 or 7? And for the 10 days ordeal, it ain’t worth it, isn’t it?

Don’t get disheartened. The lemon cleanse diet can be used as a detox and weight loss diet once you take care of a couple of things. I will show you where you can get the revised master cleanser recipe towards the end of this article. It’s the true detox and weight loss diet.

The longer you are in the lemon cleanse diet, the more weight you will loss. That may sound logical except you are in for a rude shock when you gain back more than whatever you have lost previous, once you are back on normal diet.

Most people think they can jump straight into the master cleanse diet and survive the 10 days program, yet I’m almost certain most never get pass the first 3 days.  They can’t stand the hunger pangs and worst, the irresistible delicious smell food from the kitchen calls out to them repeatedly.  Finally it becomes too much to ensure and they give up.

It’s clear that they are not prepared. They should not wake up one morning and simply decided to start the lemons cleanse diet just like that.  That’s the start to a journey of doom.

If they have made an effort to prepare themselves mentally, the outcome will have been different.  And that means getting into the mindset to begin the safe detox diet.

Start 3 days before the master cleanser diet. Visualize the outcome of losing 20 pounds in 10 days and feel the wondrous feeling of completion.   It certainly helps to push you ahead in your quest for weight loss.

The original master cleanser diet by Stanley Burroughs has been around for more than 50 years as a safe detox diet, yet it was by no means designed to be a weight loss diet.  Special attention should be given to certain ingredients to make weight loss a success.

There are also strategies you can follow and use to help you through the 10 days you are on the lemon cleanse diet, include food you can consume while on this detox and weight loss diet. It may sound counter intuitive now. How can you eat while on the master cleanser diet? I assured you, you can with the master cleanser diet. And I do mean the revised recipe, which is designed as a detox and weight loss diet.
